Sports have been an integral part of Rhys' life from a young age. He grew up playing hockey, baseball, golf and any other sport available. Rhys has passed this passion along to his 3 children who are now heavily involved in sports. Rhys’ focus has always been creating experiences and memories for the players he has coached and mentored. Rhys looks forward to bringing his vision and dedication to MJI and our respective families.

Brennan has had many years of experience in the realm of hockey, playing Junior Hockey and coaching various teams at high levels. Brennan is one of the top skills coaches around as he is the Founder and Head Instructor of Excessive Speed Hockey. He graduated in the Faculty of Education and was a teacher for 3 years. Brennan also has many years of experience from the managing & organizing standpoint as he helped run Manitoba Hockey Development (Now the MJI Program) as well as the North American Hockey Classic Spring Tournaments in its first 15 years.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Mike grew up playing hockey from a young age and hasn’t been able to hang up his skates ever since. He has been coaching and mentoring kids including his own two boys in the Winnipeg area for more years than he would care to admit.
Mike has a background in project management and information technology and is excited about putting those skills to use in the hockey industry and giving back to hockey in Manitoba through the MJI program.
Mia’s passion for sports has led her to joining the Manitoba Junior Ice Organization. She grew up playing hockey, softball and volleyball. After high school, Mia headed down to Colorado on a softball scholarship for two years. She then graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a business degree. Now in her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis and golf, and exercises her creative edge with ceramics, painting and drawing.
Business Administrator and Marketing Assistant
Sam has been involved in sports her whole life, from playing varsity hockey to coaching U-16 Team Ontario its always been a part of her lifestyle. While in school, Sam took Physical Health and Education and finished with a minor of Business Administrations while also working in the network marketing industry for three years. In her spare time you can find her on hikes with her dog, playing softball and golf. Her whole life has evolved around sports and we’re excited to have her involved with a business that matches her personality and lifestyle.
